Services Offered

All Ears DJ gets it. You don’t want a cheesy wedding DJ in a ruffled tuxedo playing the Chicken Dance at your reception! The good news is that it doesn’t have to be that way. All Ears DJ will only play the music that YOU want to hear.

Richard Gintowt is not only an experienced DJ, but also a professional musician. He promises, “All Ears DJ will rock your wedding or event with music and personality that exudes good taste.” They specialize in custom playlists, classy MC’ing, and can even play live acoustic music for your ceremony.

All Ears DJ doesn’t offer “four hour” quotes like many other DJs because they believe each wedding should be a 20+ hour commitment. Their all-inclusive quotes range from $1500 to $2000, depending on whether they’re involved with your ceremony and/or playing live acoustic music in addition to DJ’ing.

Prices and/or Package Info

Wedding packages start at $1500 for a four-hour reception.

Reviews

“Being that they’re actual musicians who have a wealth of experience creating music, they know the power that music can have on an event unlike some DJs who sort of ‘fake it’.”

“He kept the crowd up and energized, all the while staying within the musical taste that my wife and I prefer.”

“Richard is a brilliant musician and those skills fit in perfectly for any wedding.”

“We worked one-on-one with Richard to come up with the music we wanted to hear during our wedding and reception; he was extremely flexible and suggestive as to how the reception should flow.”

“Richard was always very quick to respond and was on time and professional. He made the whole process very easy.”

“We had a very extensive list of songs we definitely wanted to hear and songs we didn’t and he did a really good job of incorporating songs so that the entire night had energy.”

Questions and Answers

What 3 words best describe your work?
Party, party and party.
Tell us about your company name.
We are All Ears to our clients' input on music and event flow. Also it starts with an “A”, which would be smart if the Yellow Pages were still a thing.
Why should someone hire you?
We love what we do! We are musicians and DJs who treat weddings like any other gig: we come equipped to throw a helluva party. Also, you have to pay for fire insurance if you hire a magician.
What have weddings taught you?
Love is all around us! Also, patience.
What is the best advice you give a couple when planning their wedding?
No wedding is "perfect"—it’s the love and joy of the day that will stay with you. Remember to enjoy your family and friends and be in the moment.
If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be?
The ability to make anyone relax with a tap on the shoulder.
What are 3 words that describe your personality?
Restless, unfiltered, eager.
What's your favorite book/movie/work of art?
"The Warriors" (1979 film)
What's your favorite quote?
"Knock it off Napoleon! Make yourself a damn quesadilla!"
What's your favorite marriage advice?
I often joke with clients that I have a punch card and "the third one’s free". One of these days that will come back to haunt me.
Extracurricular activities:
I haven’t had a curriculum since college, thank god. Also I play in a band called Hidden Pictures.
If you weren't in your current profession, what would you do instead?
DJ parties that no one attended. Sing songs to stuffed animals.
What’s your favorite way to wind down after a hard day?
A scotch and a new episode of "Workaholics" or "Better Call Saul."
Tell us about your pets, if you have any.
I have a house plant named Larry David.
What are some of your favorite places to eat—either everyday spots or special occasion splurges?
Mostly at my DJ booth, 45 seconds before I have to introduce toasts.
