Questions and Answers

What 3 words best describe your work?
Classic, candid, emotional.
Why should someone hire you?
A wedding is an exciting event for everyone involved, and I always feel privileged to take part in these memorable occasions. When photographing a wedding I strive to be unobtrusive while catching the uniquely beautiful memories of your day. I know that the photos I take will be treasured, so I work diligently to deliver a photo gallery that allows you to relive your wedding for years to come.
What drew you to this field/how did you get started?
I've always been art-centered in my mindset and interests. The first time I picked up a camera was in art class in high school. Since then photography has become my passion. I love the in-the-moment aspect of my work, how it allows me to discover and refine the art of capturing the beauty around me
What have weddings taught you?
To be flexible and go with the flow of the event. Timing is a crucial part of every wedding day, but sticking to an exact, laid-out timeline for an entire event rarely happens. I am always willing and able to adapt as the day unfolds and conquer any obstacles that arise.
What is the best advice you give a couple when planning their wedding?
Enjoy it! This is your day, try not to get lost in the planning and worrying about every detail being perfect, and make the day one you can relax and enjoy.
What are 3 words that describe your personality?
Poised, engaging, playful.
What's your favorite quote?
Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies. —Aristotle
What's your favorite marriage advice?
Never end the day angry.
Extracurricular activities:
Crocheting, gardening, and reading.
Tell us about your pets, if you have any.
Rita: a goofy Chiweenie rescue dog (thats a Chihuahua mixed with a dachshund!) and two rescued cats: Cupcake and Oreo.
