I'd say that what makes a wedding most memorable for me would have to be the look on the bride's face when she sees her hair and makeup all done. At that point, it has finally settled in that today is her wedding day, and seeing herself all made up is what really makes her realize that she is getting married. When she finally sees herself with her hair and makeup all complete, she gets a sparkle in her eyes, they water up just a little (but not enough to ruin her makeup), and she gets a smile that brightens her whole face.What do you enjoy about the work you do?
When people are excited and have the nervous jitters, they let off this glow that radiates and touches everyone around them. Everyone is so excited and happy, and it's SUCH an amazing environment to be a part of. And the fact that we are causing some part of that glow makes us beam with pride.What drew you to this field/how did you get started?
I was inspired by my desire to feel beautiful everyday. Since I was a small child, I've always felt a drive to look beautiful, and for many years I didn't think that I was. It was an awful feeling that I know so many women struggle with. My team and I go to great lengths to make each and every one of our guests look and feel flawless.Tell us about your company name.
We came up with the name Behind The Scene Girls because we are the girls that work behind the scenes of a wedding to make it all flow together. Without a flawless look to make you feel like the most beautiful girl in the room, you will feel just like you do on any average day. But your wedding day isn't just any average day!
