Fun, candid and romantic.
Why should someone hire you?
You are not just booking a photographer; you are choosing an experience. Every couple has a vibrant love story that is worth being captured. I love love, shoot with a photojournalistic style and search for those real moments to capture your unique love story. For me, my photos are an extension of myself as an artist, and it's not just about taking pictures and getting paid.
What are some sources of inspiration or influences on your work?
A major source of inspiration for me are my grandparent's wedding photos. They sit in a silver frame in the living room. Those photos have become heirlooms and I strive to give the same timeless, heirloom quality to my couples.
What makes a wedding memorable for you?
If I have to bust out the tissues during the toasts!
What have weddings taught you?
That love is love and it's all beautiful.
What is the best advice you give a couple when planning their wedding?
Hire a wedding planner! There is a lot that goes into planning a wedding and it can be very stressful. Remember this is one of the biggest days of your life. You want to be excited and enjoy your big day, not just relieved that it is over!
If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be?
Who needs a drone when you can fly!
What are 3 words that describe your personality?
Energetic, funny and hard working.
What's your favorite book/movie/work of art?
Gone with the Wind.
What's your favorite way to wind down after a hard day?
A good beer and re-reading Harry Potter.
What are some of your favorite places to eat—either everyday spots or special occasion splurges?
My love affair with burritos knows no bounds!!
