Services Offered

Chris Ferenzi makes wedding photography look effortless. He lets the moments fly by as he expertly catches them with his camera. You'll hardly notice he's there, yet the photos will capture all the important moments and tiny details, as well as the laughter, emotion, and joy. Chris' photos convey the experience of your wedding, the character of your guests and the natural beauty of the surroundings.

We're pretty sure Chris' knack for capturing weddings on a deeper level comes from his comfortable aura and laid-back personality. He admits, "I'm a photographer who also loves dogs, Star Trek, lattes, the gym, and cookies." He's down-to-earth and extremely approachable, and couples love that he'll do whatever it takes (unobtrusively, of course) to get the perfect shots.

Reviews

"Chris managed to be everywhere he needed to be, got great photos, and everyone was amazed at how natural it felt to be photographed at a party! It was very organic!"

"He made having our photos taken really fun, even for my husband who is terrible at having his picture taken!"

"I loved the quality of the photos, and I really liked that they managed to capture really sweet and fun moments. He took amazing pictures of people dancing, me laughing (that were honestly joyous and flattering), and got great pictures of my husband's daughter. He also did a great job of getting shots of the space, cake, and food, which made the album feel like a full and comprehensive vision of the day. It's beautiful."

"What we loved the most was that he was VERY unobtrusive. It was as if he was never there—yet if we needed him or wanted a picture taken, he was right there for us. We were able to enjoy our big day without anyone pulling us around."

"Chris is an outstanding person, a talented, patient, thoughtful photographer, and truly professional and supportive in the way that any stressed out person on the verge of a wedding needs!"

"I was delighted with the planning process, and Chris' customer service throughout."

"Chris' character and work demonstrate him as a professional who is ethical, understanding, and comfortable working with very different people -- I think this is a great trait."

"Chris gave us exactly what we wanted and captured the energy of our wedding perfectly."

"Chris was communicative, fun, and helpful."

"We've been to tons of weddings and I would say Chris is by far the best photographer we've seen."

"The day we saw our wedding pictures was so moving because Chris had managed to capture all of the magic. We were beyond thrilled with how everything came out. There was a beautiful mix of posed and candid shots (my favorites)."

"I honestly can't think of anything Chris could have done better...he captured our wedding perfectly."

Questions and Answers

Why should someone hire you?
I provide a unique and artistic vision of the day and capture all the moments you never knew were happening. I try to be as unobtrusive as possible. The best compliment I've received is "I completely forgot you were there."
What 3 words best describe your work?
Bold, stylish, real.
How did you get started?
I've been shooting part-time since 2006. I started out in college shooting for the Lehigh University newspaper and then worked as an intern for The Morning Call newspaper in Allentown, PA. I shot concerts, events, sports, and did a variety of portraits for both newspapers. After that, I began assistant-shooting weddings. Then I decided to take a risk and try shooting one on my own. The saga continues…
What's your favorite book/movie/work of art?
I have three favorite books: Red Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson, Hyperion by Dan Simmons, and Dune by Frank Herbert. If I could only read three books for the rest of my life, those would be the ones.
Tell us about your pets, if you have any.
My boyfriend and I adopted a rescue dog from Puerto Rico. We named her Jadzia after the character in Star Trek Deep Space Nine. She's the most adorable dog ever, but can be a handful at times.
What are some of your favorite places to eat—either everyday spots or special occasion splurges?
The special occasion splurges are anywhere that offers dessert. I tell myself that going to the gym will counterbalance all the sugary goodness. That remains to be seen!
