What drew you to this field/how did you get started?
I've always been an outgoing and empathetic person, who enjoys the act of making others smile. About 20 years ago, I was approached by the DJ at an event who needed help during the summer. After my first event, I never looked back from the opportunity to make people smile during their special time.Why should someone hire you?
Someone should hire me because I will, if necessary, walk you through the entire process and make sure you are satisfied, while keeping the party moving and guests entertained through the event.Tell us about a favorite, unusual or very interesting moment at a wedding:
My favorite wedding moment is the cake cutting, toast, and bouquet/garter toss. I love the individualism of each event and find it exciting that no one is the same. Throwing in a surprise twist during the sequence always provides interesting and memorable moments for each party.What's your favorite quote?
My favorite quote is one that I like to say: "Life is less about what you know, more about who you know, but mostly about who knows you and what they say about you after your name."If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be?
If I could choose any superpower to have on the job, it would be to have super speed. Usually, I handle large events as a one-man-show, which means I'm responsible for engaging guests, providing ever-changing mood-contingent music, and coordinating multiple steps in a complex dance over the span of four hours. Having a little extra speed would go a long way.About This Company
