Enlightened Styles is an organic hair salon providing services and products that are rich in organic, biodynamic ingredients.
They're a boutique salon specializing in wedding hair and makeup. And by “boutique” we mean they’re dedicated to providing each client with undivided care and attention.
Jacquelyn Rodriguez, owner of Enlightened Styles, is a highly-trained professional hair stylist and makeup artist. She prides herself on getting to know you, listening to your needs, and taking the time to create a custom bridal look that is perfect for your unique hair and skin type.
Enlightened Styles even has an exclusive line of custom blended Ammoura Cosmetics. They can craft a foundation to your individual skin type, color and condition after a detailed skin assessment. Ammoura also has a Ready To Wear line full of eyeshadows, blushes, bronzers, eyeliners, and mascaras, as well as an interactive Lipstick Design System.

I chose Enlightened Styles Because I'm passionate about helping women be their best selves. Each woman should feel great and I love Enlightening them on how to do that everyday with hair and makeup.Why should someone hire you?
I go above and beyond for each of my brides. I really take the time to listen to them and it's our job to make sure their hair and makeup are just the way they wanted it for their big day. I also make sure that the day goes smoothly and the bride is very relaxed.What are the common misconceptions about your services?
Most people think you have to wear a ton of makeup or not look like yourself for photo shoots. With the right technique, you can still look like the best you and not feel like you're wearing so much makeup.What drew you to this field/how did you get started?
We all love to make a difference in people's lives. When your hair and makeup look good it can really change your outlook on the day!What are some sources of inspiration or influences on your work?
We keep up with the newest trends in fashion. We are always learning new techniques.What makes a wedding memorable for you?
I love that moment when each bride gets in their dress after hair and makeup, and they get to see themselves for the first time.What have weddings taught you?
I love seeing it all come together, but with weddings something is bound to go wrong. But it teaches you that as long as you have each other and the important people are there, it will all be fine and you will still have the best day!What is the best advice you give a couple when planning their wedding?
I always recommend having a wedding planner. They truly make the whole experience better.If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be?
