Freedom Bakery and Confections is all that you would wish for in a neighborhood bakeshop: Family owned and operated since 1975, they produce all of their gourmet wedding cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and edible favors in-house, made-to-order from scratch, using only the finest ingredients like pure Belgian chocolate.
They can work with you to custom design your wedding favors, and even print their own custom photo cookies and photo chocolates directly on the treat so there’s NO starchy rice paper!

Freedom Bakery & Confections: We started our business in 1975 on Freedom Boulevard and when we started making our own Belgian chocolates and other confections, we added Confections to the name.What drew you to this field/how did you get started?
We are a second-generation family-owned bakery. Owner and Baker, Paul, has been helping his family with the bakery since a teenager. After college, he earned a CPA license and worked for a major accounting firm. But after a few years, he decided he enjoyed the creativity and hands-on experiences in the bakery business much more.What are some sources of inspiration or influences on your work?
It's all about the bride, groom, their day and style. Inspiration all comes from the couple and what they're looking for. Our starting point is listening to the couple and their vision. From that point, we work with them to achieve a design that is within their budget.A major influence comes from Paul's dad. Since 1975, the bakery's constant goal was to provide quality taste, service, and design. We use only the best ingredients including imported Belgian chocolate, the freshest dairy and produce from our local vendors. To keep up with the times, we attend shows to see the latest trends and equipment.
What is the best advice you give to a couple when planning their wedding?
Do what you want to do. It doesn't matter "what other brides do." It's your wedding.Map
