Jason Corey is "obsessed with capturing moments." A Boston native, Jason uses a cinematic, modern approach to shooting weddings rooted in photojournalism. His images are fresh, vibrant, candid, and real. But most of all, he likes to keep things fun. He promises to keep the business end of photography simple so you can relax and enjoy the process.

What 3 words best describe your work?
Fresh. Vibrant. FUN!What drew you to this field/how did you get started?
From early high school (where my passion developed) up until now I've been obsessed with capturing moments. It's a thrill in and of itself and to have the honor of capturing such a joyous day is the best feeling in the world.Why should someone hire you?
If a couple's personality and style match with my own, I don't see a reason why I shouldn't be hired! When searching for a wedding photographer, what it boils down to is the connection between you and the photographer. If I sync well with a couple, we both will see eye to eye and will be more comfortable throughout the whole process. The more comfortable we both are, the better the images!What are some sources of inspiration or influences on your work?
I'm heavily influenced by the work of Trevor Dayley and Tony Gambino. I love both their styles and always find myself back on their portfolios if I'm ever artistically "stuck." They have a quality of work that is crisp and fresh—aspects that I strive to achieve in my own portfolio.What makes a wedding memorable for you?
Witnessing true love at its finest. I love watching as two families join together and become one. Having the ability to document these heartfelt emotions wedding after wedding is such an amazing experience.What have weddings taught you?
The value of your family and friends. Weddings are absolutely for the couple, but in a much larger sense, weddings are a fantastic reason to bring people together. As everybody goes down their own path in life, friendships and even family tend to drift apart. It's great to see all those connections re-join on one special day. It has taught me to truly value and be grateful the friends and family that I do have, and to avoid the drift.If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be?
The ability to fly! I want some awesome birds-eye view shots, but don't want to buy a drone! :)What are 3 words that describe your personality?
Laid-back, easygoing, and genuine. Those qualities also shine through in my photography.What's your favorite marriage advice?
Planning a wedding usually is stressful, but it doesn't have to be. Yes there are many aspects to consider and many things that can go wrong. But don't let that get in the way and have you lose sight of the joyous day. I plan and strategize with my couples with that stress-free idea in mind.Tell us about your pets, if you have any.
I have a pitbull named Luna. Having a dog is absolutely the best thing in the entire world and I will stand by that forever. Those with a dog know what I'm talking about! :)If you weren't in your current profession, what would you do instead?
