Questions and Answers

What 3 words best describe your work?

DJ/MCs, Audiovisual & Lighting.

Why should someone hire you?

From start to finish, we are easy to contact and book, do excellent work and have a lot of fun while we are at it!

What drew you to this field/how did you get started?

I was interested in car auto and big sound systems moving a lot of air. I translated that love to entertainment systems at weddings and other special events. I come from an endurance training background and most of my equipment has some serious weight to it!

Tell us about a favorite, unusual or very interesting moment at a wedding:

A bride and her father were walking from the staging area down the aisle at a wedding ceremony. Seated guests started to yell that a barrier made from a railroad rope was still tied and blocking their way. I jumped into action. Because it was so tight, I had to use my teeth to get the knot untied. The whole ordeal only delayed us about 2 minutes. Everyone shouted and cheered!

What makes a wedding memorable for you?

I love to see couples, guests and vendors disregard and forget all their problems and have the time of their lives. Even though it can be extremely stressful to put it all together, that never shows on the big day.

What is the best advice you give a couple when planning their wedding?

I suggest hiring a wedding coordinator (either day-of or longer) to refer quality vendors and provide guidance. Do not rely on a friend or family member unless they are one, of course.

If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be?

If I could fly all the equipment in like Superman, that'd be better than making 3-4 trips from the truck, lol!

What are 3 words that describe your personality?

As an event professional, I am prepared, upbeat and savvy!

What’s your favorite way to wind down after a hard day?

I normally enjoy a craft beer to wind down after a hard day.

Tell us about your pets, if you have any.

I have two dogs named Nola and Honey and a pet fish named Chicken Nugget.

What are some of your favorite places to eat—either everyday spots or special occasion splurges?

My first love is eating at home because my wife is a wonderful cook. My go-to everyday spot is El Pollo Loco. If it's a special occasion, it'll most likely be a high-end Japanese, French, or Italian restaurant.
