“Their level of customer service is phenomenal! They are very easy to get into contact with and they worked with our budget, allowing us to make payments. I can’t say enough good things about them.”

“I would emphasize that these guys are really sweet and friendly. They want you and your guests to have a great time at your wedding and you will!”

“The reps from the photo booth, who stayed for the duration of our event, were dressed up in a full suit and tie—very presentable.”

“We wanted there to be some sort of activity and keepsake for people to enjoy during the wedding. Knowing not everyone would be captured by the photographer, the photo booth gave our guests a chance to express themselves and leave behind a photo for my bride and I.”

“They set up the booth as quickly and flawlessly as humanly possible. The booth was immaculate and as good looking from the outside as the website advertised.”

“We were able to customize the layout and text with the logo for our event. It made a really great souvenir.”

“We found that everything with Photomatica was included where other companies charged extra fees. There wasn’t an additional fee for design options on the photos, which we got to pick out and personalize. There wasn’t an additional fee for props or even for printing extra photos. Everything was included which was great because we were on a budget.”

“We got pictures a disc of all of the pictures and an online archive! Awesome! 100% Satisfaction!

Questions and Answers

What 3 words best describe your work?
Prompt, professional, hip.
Tell us about your company name.
We custom-design and build photo booths here in San Francisco. We understand that the bride (and groom) have a lot of boxes to tick before their big day, so we focus on minimizing the effort concerning the photo booth. We believe that an honest, hard-working service and a happy bride are the main factors in our continued success. You could say our motto is, "What the bride wants, the bride gets."
Why should someone hire you?
We have all the bases covered so the bride doesn't have to worry about it. We answer her questions clearly and in a matter of minutes, offer an honest service, no nickel-and-diming pricing structure, have top-of-the-line products and parts, and bend over backwards to deliver the customizations requested.
What drew you to this field/how did you get started?
We built our first photo booth after Doug got married a few years ago. He wanted a vintage photo booth at his wedding and couldn't find one that was affordable or local.
What are some sources of inspiration or influences on your work?
Anything that is old and has history. We want to bring back that nostalgia of the photo booths you would go into at the fair or on the boardwalk.
Tell us about a favorite, unusual or very interesting moment at a wedding:
I love when I get surprised with some sort of awkward performance by the bride or groom. I once saw a groom sing That Girl is Mine completely off key and literally in between the beats, but he belted it out like he was in his car, alone, singing along with the radio. I envy people who are immune to embarrassment.
What makes a wedding memorable for you?
A wedding is memorable to me when there is an overwhelming amount of love being expressed among friends and family. The toasts that are straight from the heart always make me feel like I'm pretty lucky to be invited to witness such an emotional and personal event.
What have weddings taught you?
Weddings have taught me to not forget to cherish the connections you have with the people in your life. At weddings, these connections among people are put on display for everyone to see and it's a beautiful thing.
What is the best advice you give a couple when planning their wedding?
Tackle one vendor at a time. Find the vendors with great reviews or go with referrals. Skip the unknown vendors whose lowest prices are not worth the risk.
If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be?
I'd love to be able to read minds. It would be that much easier to ensure you are doing the right things to please your clients.
What are 3 words that describe your personality?
Sincere, driven, people-pleaser.
What's your favorite book/movie/work of art?
This is tough. I love photography that captures everyday life. Americana...street photography. I love to see the beauty in what others may think of as gritty.
What's your favorite marriage advice?
A happy wife is a happy life.
Extracurricular activities:
Running, hiking, motorcycles, playing with my kids, traveling, crushing brides and grooms with over the top service.
If you weren't in your current profession, what would you do instead?
I would love to travel the world photographing interesting things I encounter.
