Reviews

“I had an idea of what I wanted, but honestly, I was a very indecisive bride. Danielle helped me come up with some concepts and she listened. She was on top of everything and gave me the facts.

“Danielle is definitely organized. She keeps people calm and collected and stays on top of other vendors to make sure they’re doing their jobs. She’s also very willing to resolve things, even for other vendors. Plus, her aesthetic is amazing!

She and her team are professional, punctual, and time-efficient, and it’s always a pleasure to work with them as they have the client’s best interests at heart.

"Danielle and her team can take a blank canvas and create beauty, all while keeping the client’s individual personal touches in mind with each event."

“Everything seemed to move along smoothly throughout the entire planning process, and in the end, it was all amazing.

Questions and Answers

What 3 words best describe your work?
Creative. Elegant. Chic.
Tell us about your company name.
I use my last name because it’s unique and no one will confuse my work with anyone else’s. Plus, Rothweiler Event Design spells “R.E.D.”, which is why we say to “Always bet on R.E.D”.
Why should someone hire you?
First and foremost, this is my full-time job and has been for close to 10 years now. I have the time to invest in my couples and to stay up-to-date on everything from trends to new destination locations and more. I am there for my couples and there are no restrictions on the number of meetings we can have or emails we can exchange. I truly put my heart into every wedding and event, which is why my heart always breaks a little when the event day is here and we have to say goodbye. Fortunately, because of the bond I form with my clients, we often remain friends, long after the event is over.
What drew you to this field/how did you get started?
I had always planned events growing up and through college; I just never realized it. It wasn’t until I was out of college for a few years that I thought wedding and event planning would be a good fit for me. I have a theatre and performing background and, believe it or not, the two fields are very similar! After interning for another planner, that’s when I started my own company.
What are some sources of inspiration or influences on your work?
I get inspired by anything that isn’t something I have already seen a thousand times on Pinterest. I’m not a huge fan of trends either, and I’m most inspired by out of the box ideas. I like to look at real weddings that tell the story of the couple through design. The day is about two people that found each other in a sea of 7 billion and I’m inspired by designers that really get that.
What's your favorite quote?
"Believe in your heart that you are destined to do great things." – Joe Paterno
What's your favorite way to wind down after a hard day?
Wine, a cheese board, and some quality time with husband – which is hard to get with two little boys in the house!
