What 3 words best describe your work?
Honest. Artful. Timeless.
What drew you to this field/how did you get started?
By accident! I always love documenting my travels and learned photography to take my own headshots out of necessity as an actress. I was asked to take some candid images for a friend's wedding and she ended up liking my photos better than her actual wedding photographer. I built my business while standing in for Zooey Deschanel on New Girl.
If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be?
Time travel. That's a superpower, right?
Are you an early bird or night owl?
I'm a morning person. The early hours of the day feel really special + hopeful.
What makes a wedding memorable for you?
I find the whole wedding day to be beautiful because of how fleeting it all is. The minutes just trickle by. In the end, we are only left with our memories + our photos. I always feel really honored that this is my job.
