Tell us about your company name.
We started The Uncommon Weddings with one mission in mind – to provide an experience so "out-of-this-world" for our couples they'd look back on their wedding experience with us and say, "Wow, that was different". We intentionally make an effort for all of our couples to feel like our closest friends and family. Before, on, and after their wedding day, our couples are treated with love and attention at a standard that is far Uncommon in our industry.
What are the common misconceptions about your services?
A lot of video teams are in the business of "up-selling" and charging additional fees for things like full documentary videos, drone footage, and travel fees. We don't like sneaky fees—so we've included all of those add-ons as a part of our packages.
What is the best advice you give a couple when planning their wedding?
Hire pros and trust your vendors. Real professionals have done this hundreds of times and have years of experience. We can adapt and be flexible. If you hire the right people, you'll know you're in good hands.
What have weddings taught you?
A couple's wedding day is the most meaningful day of their lives and for this, we don't take our job lightly at all! We're honored to be a part of such a special moment in time.
What makes a wedding memorable for you?
Seeing grandma get down on the dance floor. Nothing beats it!
