Trista is an animal-loving, outdoor-adventuring, native Angeleno that loves photographing weddings of free-spirited, creative couples. She says, "I have a passion for what I do; therefore, I'll be all in at your wedding. Above all, I want you to show me your personality!! I'll capture all the wild, amazing, and magical moments."
From elopements to destination weddings and everything in between, Trista is open for anything! She especially loves non-traditional couples and weddings that are full of personality and unique details.
Prices and/or Package Info
Wedding Photography Packages range from $3,400–6,400. Most couples choose the eight-hour package, which is $4,400 with two photographers, an engagement session, and an online digital downloadable gallery where prints can be ordered.

Tell us about your company name.
Trista is my first name and Maja is my middle name. Maja is pronounced with a soft "J" like in French.
Why should someone hire you?
I'm like having an extra person in your wedding party, but I'm also a photographer that loves capturing weddings.
What drew you to this field/how did you get started?
I was a dog action photographer when a friend got engaged and wanted me to take his engagement photos. I had a lot of fun at the session and wanted to do more.
Tell us about a favorite, unusual or very interesting moment at a wedding:
I had a wedding where both the bride and the groom surprised each other with a full-on song and dance routine at the reception.
What makes a wedding memorable for you?
The couple's personality and the couple's portraits.
What have weddings taught you?
Patience.
What is the best advice you give a couple when planning their wedding?
Communicate with your wedding vendors and don't be afraid to ask questions.
What are 3 words that describe your personality?
Up for anything, open-minded, and easy-going.
If you weren't in your current profession, what would you do instead?
I'd be a Chef. I love to make food for people.
What's your favorite way to wind down after a hard day?
Either a hot bubble bath with a glass of wine or watching a movie on my couch with my partner.
Tell us about your pets, if you have any.
I have three Australian Shepherds and a bunch of cats, I'm a completely sane cat lady. (I moved into a feral cat colony three and a half years ago and I'm a bit of a softy. I've gotten everyone spayed and neutered and take care of several in the house and more in the front yard.)
What are some of your favorite places to eat—either everyday spots or special occasion splurges?
That's so tough, but I'm always up for good tacos, Korean BBQ, sushi or pasta.
