In addition to baking and designing deliciously contemporary wedding cakes, Amy and her staff also create custom cupcake towers and innovative dessert tables that will keep your guests coming back for seconds and thirds.
Couples will personally meet with a cake designer to collaborate on the design and provide a decadent choice of cake, cupcakes or assorted confections to sample. One famous cupcake flavor is the Meyer Lemon Raspberry Cupcake which Martha Stewart chose personally to be baked on the “Martha Stewart Show.” VBS has an extensive menu of cake flavors to choose from including the popular “Fleur Del Sel” chocolate cake which was featured in Bon Appetit magazine.
It’s not just their variety of flavors and designs that keep their clients happy, the Vanilla Bake Shop team believe that each cake should be baked with the highest quality ingredients and always made with love. They put their hearts into their cakes, cupcakes, confections and clients. Amy and Jeremy oversee the delivery of your product to the event site to ensure that perfection is achieved every time.

About This Company
After operating a wedding cake and dessert catering company for many years, Amy and Jeremy Berman decided to open up a shop in Santa Monica in 2007. The name, Vanilla Bake Shop, came from Amy’s time in culinary school were she learned that vanilla is the most universally loved flavor. Vanilla Bake Shop wedding cakes and desserts has been featured in magazines such as Los Angeles Weddings, The Knot, Bride and Bloom, Modern Bride and Bon Appetit. The New York Times, Dr. Phil and Martha Stewart have sung the praises of Vanilla Bake Shop. At the 2008 LA Cupcake Challenge, Vanilla Bake Shop’s Red Velvet took first place for “Best Traditional Cupcake.”
