A memorable wedding: I loved when my friend sang the Mag­net­ic Fields’ ​“The Book of Love” with the groom’s broth­er at a friend’s wedding.

Childhood career choice: Author. Teacher. Chef. Sci­en­tist. Flight Atten­dant (tbh, we said ​“stew­ardess” back then). I might still be try­ing to be all those things. 

Favorite culinary aphrodisiac: Some inter­est­ing, beau­ti­ful, unusu­al pro­duce — espe­cial­ly fruit.

Staff person I turn to most often for help: Mered­ith. That was even true when we worked togeth­er for a dif­fer­ent employer!

What people most underestimate about me: My upper body strength. Watch out. Hah!

What I like most about my job: 1. I’ve nev­er worn shoes at work the whole time I’ve been with Hop­scotch Press (OK, maybe that’s a bit of an exag­ger­a­tion) and 2. my co-work­ers are the best. (Seri­ous­ly, now. I’m not exag­ger­at­ing on this one.)
